What is vesa mount ?

A VESA mount is a standard used for mounting flat-panel displays (such as LCD monitors or TVs) on walls, desks, or other surfaces. The acronym VESA stands for Video Electronics Standards Association, the organization responsible for creating and maintaining the standard.

VESA mounts are typically made up of a plate or bracket that attaches to the back of the display, which can then be mounted onto a compatible VESA mount using screws or other hardware. The VESA standard defines the distance and placement of the mounting holes on the back of the display, allowing for compatibility between various VESA mounts and displays.

There are several VESA mount standards, including the most common 75x75mm and 100x100mm patterns, as well as larger patterns such as 200x200mm or 400x400mm, which are often used for larger displays or TVs.
